Time and again companies trumpet their exposure to Asia. The UK’s Aviva is about the only firm not to be looking east for future growth. To get a sense of how flush with cash people are feeling in this region what better way than to look at the Las Vegas of the east ‐ Macau. If they are betting against the house then there is a good chance they are in a spending mood. Along with Wynn Macau, Galaxy Entertainment, Melco Crown and SJM, we will also look at the US casino operators, MGM, Wynn and Las Vegas Sands, by way of comparison. It really is a tale of two opposites.
